CA Articleship Stipend in 2026: What Regulation 48 Guarantees Today, and the Hike ICAI Has Proposed
The legal minimum stipend for a CA article is still Rs 2,000 to Rs 3,000 a month in the largest cities, unchanged since 2015. ICAI has gazetted a draft raising it to Rs 5,000 and Rs 6,000 — but it is not law yet. What you can claim today, and what changes when it is notified.
